SO I've decided to learn to play bass. Well, not exactly. I am actually tone deaf, have NO rhythm, I don't understand, let alone love music, and I have no internal discipline to practice. It hurts my fingers and I feel like a tool. BUT, my bass is very pretty. It shiny bright PERFECT red, with a fuzzy leopard print strap. Very cute. Plus Kevin bought it for me for my birthday, and I don't want to hurt his feelings. So I "practice" with our church's worship team. Because they're willing to humor me.
Long story short, last Wednesday, I was kickin' BUTT. I was good... really good. I could actually hear myself and I could actually feel the rhythm. I sounded great! I was so excited! Except that it turned out I never turned my amp on.
Yeah. That about sums it up.
isn't that always the way, you do something great and no one is there to see it.....except...........
