My Favorite Movie - Miss Potter

I have to mention my favorite movie at the moment. I saw it again last night and I was thrilled again by its simple beauty. "Miss Potter" starring Rene Zellwegger about Beatrix Potter. Just a simple life in England early 1900s. And England never looked so good, primarily the Lake District, really quite beautiful countryside. Miss Potter lived a quiet life pursueing simple beauty. No blood and guts or sluts. Just a good woman insisting on living with and in beauty. So refreshing, so NOT 2008, so NOT todays disgusting and repellent celebraties. I will watch it every year for the rest of my life to remind me to shake off the cultural dung once in awhile and insist on loveliness, instead, in my own life---even if only in my own head.

  2. Never even heard of this movie, please go to the video rental store, rent it for me, deliver to my home and help me to understand the subtitles of this movie set in Ing-uh-lund.

    Will report findings soon.
